Alzheimer Walk For The Cure Wilmington Delaware
It's always good to help others and other organizations where their mission is to raise awareness about a certain cause or disease. I had the pleasure to Alzheimer Foundation's Walk For A Cure at the Wilmington Riverfront. It was a great turnout and the weather was absolutely perfect! Clear blue skies, warm temperatures and no humidity made everyone comfortable for the two mile walk.
While walking I came upon a few folks I know and a couple who are clients that was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers. I hadn't seen them in a while because of my days in Millsboro, but as soon as I came up them, I could see the change. Alzheimers affects so many and so much. It's hard watching a loved one or friend live their life with it and there's nothing you can do accept understand and manage the best you can. Dementia is the same.
